While living at Parkland you will be engaged in customized activities and programs designed to stimulate your mind, body and soul. These activities could include computer classes, yoga, tai chi, meditation, volunteer activities, day trips, arts, music and movie nights.
Wellness is an integral part of our mission, we will work together to help you to continue leading a healthy and active lifestyle. Parkland Retirement Living is more than just your home, it’s a community. It’s where you’ll spend your time laughing with neighbours, enjoying evenings with friends and most of all, keeping your mind, body and soul healthy with the activities and programs offered exclusively to clients.

Harmony is a holistic approach to being well, focusing on six dimensions of wellness: physical, intellectual, social, vocational, emotional and spiritual. Through consultation and goal setting, Parkland Retirement Living staff will ensure your interests, hobbies and preferences are reflected in the recreation and activities offered.
To help reach these goals, each client has access to the Harmony Application on Apple iPads or via the Harmony website; software specifically designed to track activities and progress. The application is personalized and helps with daily planning, it is also the perfect way to find out the activity schedule, daily menus, weather and keep up to date with messages from family, friends and neighbours.
The Harmony program includes:
- Consultation with Wellness Coaches
- Development of a personalized wellness plan
- Dietary recommendations
- Activities, workshops, classes and outings
- Use of Parkland amenities
