Parkland on Eglinton West also offers a full continuum of service that supports a variety of different needs and preferences, should your needs ever change.

A:Parkland is owned and operated by Shannex Incorporated – a family-owned, maritime-based company that has been in business for over 30 years. Shannex is a leader in seniors’ accommodation, service and care, providing home care, retirement living, assisted living, memory care and nursing home care in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Ontario.

A:While you are more than welcome to have guests stay with you in your suite, Parkland also offers a guest suite that can be rented for a fee.
A:We treat these situations on a one-on-one basis, as no situation is alike. We would suggest a meeting with our Lifestyle Consultant and Resident Services Manager to ensure we can meet both of your needs and preferences in the best way.
A:We are happy to welcome friendly small pets under 25 pounds in our Independent and All-Inclusive Lifestyle buildings. Please speak with our Lifestyle Consultant for more information on our pet policy. All residents will be required to sign our pet policy as part of their lease agreement.
A:Residents are required to sign a one-year lease upon move-in, but can leave at any time after giving 30 day’s notice. After the first year, this lease will be month-to-month.
A:There is no assigned seating in any of our dining venues. You are free to sit anywhere you would like, and mingle with whomever you choose. Parkland on Eglinton West will offer all day dining (hours to be determined).
